Phytokeratin is used in hair care because it has an amino acid structure that is very similar to the keratin that occurs naturally in the skin, hair or nails.

It is mainly obtained from wheat, maize or soya and gives the hair exactly the same strength and suppleness as animal keratin.

Hair care enriched with plant keratin protects hair that has been damaged and weakened by daily stress (blow-drying, styling, etc.). It repairs the hair fibre and makes the hair stronger, smoother and softer.
